How do I find out the status of my order?

If you would like to view the status of your order, please log in at the top of the page. Click on “View Previous Orders” and you will be able to view your order status and track its shipping progress. Before you call us to check the status of your order for you please check your email confirmation. All Tracking Numbers are emailed to our customers so you can easily track the status of your order.

How do I track the progress of my order?

Please refer to your recent email messages from CigarsDirect.com. Once your order has been packed and scanned by the shipping service, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Click on the link provided in the email to track the location of your package. If you can’t find your tracking number, please forward a copy of your order confirmation, including your name, order number, and email address.

What if my order arrives damaged?

We make every effort to ensure that your items reach you in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that your order should arrive damaged, you must immediately contact our customer service department for further instructions. Please do not discard any of the merchandise or packaging materials, as we may need these items for further investigation. Please note, any damaged material must be fully un-smoked and as sent.

How will you pack and ship my cigars?

We provide the best possible service when it comes to storing, packing, and shipping cigars to you. All our cigars are stored in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment. From the time they arrive at our door until we hand them to the shipping courier, they are kept and maintained to allow the best possible humidification levels. We carefully pack each item, using paper, peanuts, bubble wrap, or other packing material as required to prevent damage, ensuring that the product remains in the best possible condition. Also, we always pack single cigars in a sealed plastic bag and include a Boveda humidification pillow to ensure they hold their proper humidity during shipment.

Shipping Services

We use either USPS Priority Mail or UPS… we do not use any other services. If you select standard shipping, our logistics expert will decide which service to use based on your location. We have been doing this a long time and know which service will get your cigars to you the quickest. If you select an expedited service we will use UPS Overnight, 2nd Day and 3 Day.

Please Note: ALL ORDERS shipped via UPS will require an adult signature per UPS shipping guidelines. Additionally, ALL ORDERS shipped to California will require an adult signature per state restrictions. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, as we try our best to provide the best customer experience regardless of the rules and regulations we have to navigate.

  • Due to state laws we are unable to ship to Utah
  • Due to the recent Supreme Court decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc., States now have the authority to require out of state mail-order companies to collect and remit sales tax. The effective dates for these requirements vary by state.   • In accordance with California Senate Bill No. 39, effective January 1, 2020, all packages containing tobacco products shipped to the state of California require the signature of a person 21 years of age or older upon delivery. We are required to confirm your delivery of tobacco products by telephone call after 5PM (PT) the day prior to shipment. We cannot ship tobacco products to P.O. Boxes in California.
  • We require all purchasers to be over 21 years of age. In addition, in accordance with Delaware’s Title 30 Chapter 53, we’re required to receive and store age verification documents in order to sell a tobacco product to you. We utilize Veratad Age and Identity Verification Solutions to safely and securely store your information. Age verification is a one-time process required for compliance with Delaware law. We also require the signature of a person 21 years of age or older before completing your delivery. Due to signature requirements, we are unable to ship to a P.O. Box or offer certain shipping methods to Delaware

Directions for Returns:

Cigars 

If you are not 100% satisfied with any cigars that you purchase from Holt’s after you have tried one (1) cigar, you may return them within 30 days for full credit or full refund. If you try more than one (1) and decide that they are not to your liking, you may return them and will receive credit or a refund for the amount of cigars returned, minus the shipping costs. Returns are accepted only with original cellophane wrapper intact.


Non-Tobacco Products 

If you are not 100% satisfied with any non-tobacco product that you purchase from Holt’s, you may return it in original condiiton within 30 days of purchase for full credit or refund.


Free Promotional Items 

All defective promotional items must be returned by customer at customer cost. Replacement will be issued upon receipt of merchandise by us.
